During this maintenance window, network engineers will be upgrading core switching devices that support dedicated and virtual servers in our Sydney Equinix SY4 network. This work is required to increase network capacity, support additional upstream carriers and maintain the ongoing reliability of the Intergrid network.

This maintenance impacts dedicated (baremetal) and virtual servers only. It does not impact colocation or IP transit services.

To minimise impact to services, the work will be completed on one device at a time. During the maintenance window, Sydney dedicated and virtual servers may be inaccessible or degraded for up to three periods of approximately 5 to 10 minutes. The work is fully planned and scripted to minimise impact.
